🟩 Unit 1: Maps, Models & Meaning

🔁 Sprint 1.1 – The World As Data

🎯 Learning Intention

I can reflect on the power of digital maps and explore ethical questions surrounding data, privacy, and representation.

Success Criteria

I participated in a group discussion and wrote a reflection on how mapping can both help and harm communities.

Why Are We Learning This?

Maps are not neutral. Every choice—what to include, what to name, what to ignore—is a reflection of power. As we learn to map systems and write code, we also learn to shape narratives. That power comes with responsibility.
