I can reflect on the power of digital maps and explore ethical questions surrounding data, privacy, and representation.
I participated in a group discussion and wrote a reflection on how mapping can both help and harm communities.
Maps are not neutral. Every choice—what to include, what to name, what to ignore—is a reflection of power. As we learn to map systems and write code, we also learn to shape narratives. That power comes with responsibility.
