I will learn how to add custom data layers to a GIS dashboard so I can build and customize my own accessibility project.

• I can clean the data table and prepare it for dashboard use.
• I can add or import a layer into a new dashboard and see it displayed.

⏰ Warm-Up (5 min)

Open ArcGIS Online and locate your data layer.

Check:

• Does your layer have Feature Type, Condition, Universal Design Notes, and Photos?

🧠 Mini-Lesson (10 min) — The Four Steps to Importing Data

Students read and copy this into their journal:

1. Find your data
   • Content → “My Content” → Your Field Maps layer
2. Clean your attributes
   • Fix typos, missing categories, and empty fields
   • Delete duplicate points
   • Ensure Universal Design Notes are included
