Learning Intention
I will apply design principles (typography, color, layout) to finalize my Google Site rough draft.
✅ Success Criteria
- I can show a homepage with at least one section using intentional font and color choices.
- I can explain one design principle I applied.
- I submitted a rough draft link in Google Classroom.
🌍 Why Are We Learning This?
Designers don’t just talk about design — they show it. Today’s rough draft makes your site real, so you can get feedback and improve it later.
🧠 Warm-Up — Tech Journal (5 min)
“What’s one design choice you’re proud of so far on your Google Site? Why did you make it?”
📚 Vocabulary (Word of the Day)
- Prototype: An early version of a product used to test ideas.

🛠 Independent Work / Project Day (25–30 min)
- Students refine their Google Sites:

- Lock in a 3-color palette.
- Add at least 1 layout section (text + image).
- Teacher check-ins: quick desk visits to ask “Which design principle are you applying here?”
✅ CFU: Students explain their font or color choice to a peer before moving on.
