What is a Network?
- A network = two or more devices connected to share data/resources.
- Purpose: communication, data exchange, resource sharing.
Types of Networks:
- LAN – Local Area Network (small, one location).
- WAN – Wide Area Network (large, multiple locations, internet).
- WLAN – Wireless LAN.
- PAN – Personal Area Network (Bluetooth, hotspot).
- MAN – Metropolitan Area Network.
