🌍 Why We’re Learning This

Every digital tool — websites, apps, CAD models — relies on design choices. Understanding layout, color, and typography helps you build professional-looking work for portfolios and certifications.

🧭 Agenda (32–35 min)

1) Warm-Up (Tech Journal, 5 min)

“If someone visited your Google Site draft today, what would be the very first impression they’d walk away with?”

• Write 3–4 sentences.
• Be specific (professional, creative, messy, organized).
• This reflection will guide your Google Site Design Document this week.

2) Mini-Lesson (10 min)

• New Examples:
  • Bad Example: Lings Cars → cluttered, distracting.
  • Good Example: Dropbox → clean, simple, easy to navigate.
• Class discussion: How do typography, color, and layout influence first impressions?

3) Guided Practice (10 min)

• In groups: pick one design element (color/typography/layout).
