🌍 Why We’re Learning This
The cloud is everywhere — from Google Drive to enterprise servers. Understanding the basics prepares you for CompTIA exams and real-world IT work.
🧭 Agenda (47–50 min)
1) Warm-Up (Tech Journal, 5 min)
“Where do you think your Google Docs or photos are actually stored? How safe do you think they are?”
2) Mini-Lesson (10 min)
- Topic: “What is the Cloud?”
- Explain servers, virtualization, remote storage.
- Introduce SaaS, PaaS, IaaS with everyday examples (Google Drive, Heroku, AWS).
3) Guided Practice (15 min)
- Groups: Match real-world tools to SaaS/PaaS/IaaS categories.
- Discuss: Which do you use most often and why?
4) Independent Work (12–15 min)
- Students explore CompTIA Cloud+ intro module (accounts newly active).
- Record one key fact in their Cloud Journal – Part 1.
