• Story Map – an interactive ArcGIS presentation combining maps, text, and media.
• Layer – a dataset added to a map that shows specific information.

📣 Mini-Lesson / Lecture (10–12 min)

1. Teacher demo:
   • Log into ArcGIS StoryMaps → create new project.
   • Show how to title it: “Jobs & Housing in [Region, Industry].”
   • Add first section (Title Page: intro + background image).
   • Embed a simple web map (ex: Census job density or housing affordability).
2. Highlight: A good Story Map mixes maps + narrative → your data must have context.

🤝 Work Time (30–35 min)

• Teams log into ArcGIS Online StoryMaps.
• Create Title Page with:
  • Project title (industry + region).
  • Background photo or banner image.
  • Short opening paragraph (2–3 sentences).
• Add at least 1 draft map (jobs or housing).
