We are learning the basic structure of a StoryMap and planning our own.

• I can outline the sections of a StoryMap.
• I can brainstorm a story idea connected to San Bernardino’s history or community.

📝 Warm-Up

“If you could tell one story about San Bernardino’s history, what would it be and why?”

📚 Mini-Lesson

• Elements of a StoryMap: Title, narrative text, media (photos/videos), maps, and data visualizations.
• How structure = flow of a story.

✅ CFU → Students label where they’ve seen similar structure in essays or history projects.

👩🏽‍💻 Independent Work

• Students draft an outline for their first practice StoryMap.
• Topic suggestion: San Bernardino industries & communities through history (feeds into semester project).
